Explore the countryside around Lake Maprachan on a guided ATV or buggy off-road adventure. Ride through dirt tracks, jungle pathways, rubber plantations, open plains and local farmland on routes designed for different experience levels.

Choose from beginner-friendly trails or more challenging routes with steeper climbs and muddy terrain. Before the ride, every participant receives a safety briefing and practice session. Experienced guides lead the group, with support available along the trail.

The base camp provides safety equipment, changing rooms, lockers and hot showers. After the ride, guests can enjoy a complimentary meal with fresh fruit and drinks.

What to expect

Your experience begins at the off-road base camp near Lake Maprachan. Before departure, guides provide a mandatory safety briefing and demonstrate how to operate the vehicle. You will then complete a practice session on the dedicated training track.

Once ready, follow the lead guide along the countryside trails. Routes pass through dirt tracks, jungle pathways, rubber plantations, farmland and open terrain. Beginner and advanced options offer different distances and levels of difficulty.

Guides accompany the group throughout the ride, with a support guide and mechanics available along the route. After returning to base camp, use the changing rooms and hot showers before enjoying the complimentary post-ride meal, fruit and drinks.

Before you book

  • Drivers must be at least 16 years old to operate an ATV or buggy.
  • Children aged 5–11 may join only as passengers with an adult driver or in a multi-seat buggy.
  • A standard automobile driving licence is preferred but is not stated as mandatory. Drivers must pass the practice track assessment.
  • All participants must complete the mandatory safety briefing and practice session before the main tour.
  • If a driver cannot control the vehicle safely during practice, the guide may arrange for them to join as a passenger in a guide-driven vehicle.
  • Closed-toe sneakers or running shoes are mandatory for drivers. Sandals and flip-flops are not permitted.
  • Long pants and breathable long-sleeve clothing are recommended for protection from branches and mud.
  • Approved helmets must be securely fastened whenever the vehicle engine is running.
  • All riders must follow the lead guide in a single-file formation. Overtaking and reckless stunts are prohibited.
  • Operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, cannabis or other drugs is prohibited. Intoxicated guests may be refused participation without a refund.
  • Guests may be held responsible for vehicle damage caused by careless or reckless riding or failure to follow guide instructions.
  • Normal mechanical wear and vehicle faults are covered by the company, according to the supplied terms.
  • Tours generally operate in rain. Wet conditions may create deeper mud and puddles along the route.
  • Guests must sign a physical liability waiver before the tour.

Terms and conditions

All participants must follow the guides' safety instructions and complete the required safety briefing and practice session before riding.

Drivers must be at least 16 years old and wear closed-toe shoes. Children aged 5–11 may participate only as passengers with an adult.

Helmets must be worn and securely fastened whenever the vehicle engine is running. Overtaking, reckless riding and performing stunts are prohibited.

Guests may be held responsible for vehicle damage caused by careless riding or failure to follow instructions. The operator covers normal mechanical wear and natural mechanical faults.

Tours generally operate in rain, but the operator may cancel if extreme weather creates unsafe conditions. All participants must sign a liability waiver before starting the tour.

Cancellation policy

Direct bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice before the scheduled pickup time.

Cancellations made within 24–48 hours of the tour and no-shows are non-refundable.

Date or session changes may be requested at least 24 hours in advance, subject to vehicle and guide availability.

Tours normally operate in rainy weather. If the operator cancels due to unsafe weather conditions, guests may choose a full refund or a date change.

Privacy policy

Guest information, including names, contact details and hotel accommodation addresses, is collected to manage bookings, issue vouchers and coordinate hotel transfers. Payment information may also be collected for booking processing.

The operator states that personal details are not sold or shared with outside marketing parties.
