About this package
Experience Tiger Kingdom Chiang Mai, an interactive wildlife attraction in Mae Rim where visitors can enter monitored tiger enclosures for close-up encounters with tigers of different sizes.
The experience is organised around individual tiger encounters, allowing guests to choose between different size categories ranging from the smallest cubs to giant tigers.
Each enclosure experience is conducted with trained handlers who guide visitors during the interaction. The park also has free-access viewing areas where guests can see the tigers from outside the enclosures.
Selected packages also include private transfer with tickets, while the highest package includes a photographer service for one cage and a USB.
What to expect
Get close to tigers in a controlled enclosure experience under the guidance of trained park staff.
Tiger encounters are organised by tiger size, with different age and height requirements applying to each category. Sessions are listed at approximately 10 minutes per tiger encounter.
During the interaction, guests must follow the handler's instructions and approach the tigers only from the permitted positions. Sudden movements, loud behaviour and flash photography are not permitted inside the enclosures.
Visitors who do not wish to enter an enclosure can access the park grounds and viewing walkways free of charge. Professional photography is also available through selected packages or as an additional service.

- Tiger enclosure access is subject to age and height requirements that vary by tiger size.
- Giant and Big Tiger encounters require guests to be at least 18 years old and over 160 cm tall.
- Medium Tiger encounters require guests to be at least 17 years old and over 160 cm tall.
- Small Tiger encounters require guests to be at least 16 years old and over 150 cm tall.
- Smallest Tiger encounters are available to children over 120 cm when accompanied by a paying parent or guardian.
- Guests entering the enclosures must be physically capable of squatting, kneeling and standing without assistance.
- Visitors using wheelchairs, walking sticks or crutches cannot enter the tiger enclosures.
- Follow all instructions from the assigned handlers during the tiger interaction.
- Tigers must only be approached from the rear or permitted back-side positions. Do not touch the head, face or front paws.
- Running, jumping, screaming and sudden movements are not permitted inside or around the enclosures.
- Flash photography is not permitted inside the tiger enclosures.
- Children under 12 must remain closely supervised by an adult throughout the park.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled experience are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made approximately 24 hours before the experience may receive a 50% refund, although the applicable package policy may differ.
Same-day cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable.
If the park officially closes activities because of severe weather or animal-safety concerns, a full refund or date modification may be offered.
