About this package

Experience Chiang Mai from the sky on a tandem paramotor flight over the countryside of San Kamphaeng.

Fly with a licensed pilot and enjoy an open-air aerial view of rice fields, local villages, Buddhist temples and surrounding mountain landscapes. No previous flying experience is required because the aircraft is operated by the pilot throughout the flight.

Choose from a 15-minute Normal flight, a 30-minute Normal flight or a 15-minute VIP Sunrise/Sunset flight. The VIP option is designed around the changing scenery and light of sunrise or sunset.

Selected packages include hotel pickup and drop-off in Chiang Mai, safety equipment and a GoPro recording of the flight.

What to expect

Your experience begins with pickup from your Chiang Mai accommodation and transfer to the flight field in San Kamphaeng.

Before takeoff, the flight team provides the necessary safety equipment and explains the procedures for takeoff and landing. You will fly tandem with a licensed pilot, who controls the paramotor throughout the experience.

During the flight, enjoy aerial views across rice fields, countryside, temples and mountain scenery. Depending on your selected package, the flight lasts approximately 15 or 30 minutes, with the VIP option available for sunrise or sunset.

After landing, the experience concludes with your return transfer to Chiang Mai. GoPro flight video is included according to the package information provided.

Before you book

  • No previous paramotor or flying experience is required.
  • All flights are tandem experiences and the licensed pilot operates the paramotor.
  • Passengers must weigh no more than 110 kg (242 lbs).
  • The stated age range is 5 to 80 years old. Children under 3 years old are not permitted.
  • Passengers must be physically able to manage a brief walk and light jog during takeoff and landing.
  • Flying is prohibited or not recommended for pregnancy, severe heart problems, extreme back, hip or knee conditions, epilepsy, or severe vertigo or altitude sickness.
  • Wear comfortable sportswear and closed-toe shoes. Loose sandals and flip-flops are not permitted.
  • Loose items such as phones, cameras, hats and scarves must be secured or left with the ground crew.
  • The pilot has final authority to delay, reschedule or cancel a flight when wind or visibility conditions are considered unsafe.
  • For customer-requested date changes, at least 3 days' notice is required.
  • No-shows without advance notice may result in the deposit being retained.

Passengers must follow all instructions from the flight crew before, during and after the flight. The pilot has final authority over flight operations and may delay, reschedule or cancel a flight when weather or visibility conditions are unsafe.

Passengers must meet the stated weight, age and physical requirements. The operator is not responsible for personal items that are lost, dropped or damaged during the flight.

Cancellation policy

If weather conditions make the flight unsafe, the booking may be rescheduled or the deposit may be fully refunded.

Customer-requested rescheduling requires at least 3 days' advance notice. No-shows without advance notice may result in the deposit being retained.
